How to Get Your Mugshot Removed

The Jail takes a mugshot during the intake process, or rather an intake photograph, taken by the Jail: one full face photo and one profile photo. Your name and intake number are printed on this Mugshot and filed.  Getting your Mugshot removed is not easy as it is a public record. You will need to file a Petition to Expunge in court. Meaning that your record of arrest will be sealed, making it inaccessible to anyone. The legal procedures are complex, and you might need a lawyer to assist you.

How to Get Out of Jail

After the booking process, the magistrate sets your bail amount. In the absence of bail, you might either get released, pending trial, or you may have to remain in prison waiting for your trial. If you succeed to bail out, you'll need to be in court on your court date. You will not be allowed to leave the county until your court date reaches.
